Welcome to Time Flies Edu! I’m Lisa Hamiter, a retired secondary math teacher with 35½ years of classroom experience. I’m also a wife and mother of two grown children—an aerospace engineer and a labor and delivery nurse.
My husband is retired, too. During our marriage, his career included working as a chiropractor and teaching biology. Together, we began creating curriculum, blogging, and sharing our resources on Teachers Pay Teachers.
After more than three decades of teaching math, I have plenty of lessons learned, classroom stories, and practical ideas to share. Here on the blog, you’ll find teaching tips and math activities, along with resources to help you plan lessons and check student understanding.
I’d love to hear what works in your classroom, too. Join the conversation, sign up for my weekly newsletter, and browse my resource shop while you’re here.
Thanks for visiting!
